Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, and Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Kris Kringle, Father Christmas, or simply Santa, a legendary figure originating in Western Christian culture who brings gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on Christmas Eve (December 24th) and the early morning hours of Christmas Day (December 25th).
